In this project, we were asked to design an object that could transform light and create something new. I used an arbitrary cutout of a skyline to investigate how I could vertically invert light. I employed a mylar film as a concave mirror on the back of a darkened box to invert light like a spoon. When light shined through the cutout, the inverse is seen inside the box.
